The standard we work to
We aim for ServicePitch to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This page says how we checked that, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us about anything that gets in your way.
How the site was tested
On 22 September 2026 every page was checked in Chromium with the axe-core automated checker, against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules and axe’s best-practice rules, at a phone width and a desktop width. The checks covered the states you actually reach, not just the page as it first loads: the FAQ opened, a report generating, a finished report, the sign-in and set-up dialogs, and the plan finder answered. Where the checker could not measure text contrast itself, because of the paper texture laid over the page, we calculated it separately. The result was no violations.
We also checked, by driving the site from the keyboard alone:
- the whole route from the skip link, through the report form, to a finished report and the PDF export;
- that every control on that route shows where keyboard focus is;
- that dialogs keep focus inside them and return it to where you were when they close;
- that a form error is announced and moves focus to the field that needs attention;
- that with “reduce motion” switched on, nothing is hidden waiting for an animation;
- that no page scrolls sideways at 320 pixels wide, which is what a laptop screen becomes at 400% zoom.
The same checks are saved as a test, and running it is part of the checklist before any change to the site is published.
What we have not done yet
- The site has not yet been tested by people who use a screen reader, magnifier or voice control every day. Automated checks and our own keyboard testing catch a lot, but not everything those users would.
- PDF export uses your browser’s own “Save as PDF”. How well the resulting PDF works with a screen reader depends on the browser that made it; we do not add accessibility tags to it ourselves.
- Checkout is provided by Paddle, our payment provider, in a window of its own. We have not tested it, and it is not something we can change. If it stops you paying, email us and we will sort the subscription out by hand.
- The report text is written by an AI model. It is plain text in the page, so it reads like any other text, but we cannot promise every sentence is as clear as we would write it ourselves.
Tell us about a barrier
If anything on ServicePitch is hard or impossible for you to use, email hello@servicepitch.co with the page and what happened. We typically reply within one business day, and if part of the site is blocking you we will help you get the task done another way while it is fixed.
